Okie, this is a blog wayyyyy over due… had written this post some time in feb 2011 and left it dangling in the draft folder.
Fast forward to last day of January 2012, here i am, a happily married woman blogging about the happiest day of her life (apart from the wedding day itself).
From being single, to engage, to married! All in all 2o11 is nothing but happy moments (with a tinge of some stressful wed prep moments!)
So here you go… This is how it all started.
>>>>>>>>>>>>
Be it an extravagant hotel-spa-dinner session or just a movie-dinner date, what matters most is the person you are with.
That said, I personally think that 14 February is way overrated. What’s the logic of waiting till this day, where prices of flowers skyrocket, to present your loved ones a bouquet.
Maybe it’s the sour-grapey me that is talking since I, myself, did not receive any flowers cept for a stalk from the restaurant. *sulk*
Nevermind, I digress.
Frankly, I had totally no clue what was being planned out for me. I was being led to think that the night’s theme would be “super-budget”. Not that I mind but the thought of not knowing nearly killed me AND I still have to act cool. Haha
Anyway managed to get distracted for a good 90-mins as Ashton Kutcher strutted his stuff in the movie “No Strings Attached”. The chemistry that he and Natalie Portman had was simply marvelous. The thought of Kutcher’s ka chng is still in my mind.
So movie ended. Adjourned to dinner at Cotton Bleu — a French restaurant at Upper Thomson. Seriously, they should hire more part-timers to cater for the night. We waited for a whole 10-15 mins for each course to be served to us. Grrrrrr. Anyway below are some photos we took of the food. Worth commenting was the foie gras. Rich, delicate and buttery. Yum.
Dessert came and go and we were billed. Time to head HOME. Tired!
What came next was slightly expected (oopsie).

Finally, I’m officially off the shelf. A very very dusty shelf that is.
Smiles in our hearts
Joy in our steps
A glitter on my ring finger
A hole in his pocket
Anyway, before any impulse new purchases, the most impt thing to do now is to back up all my files. Especially my beloved photos. Thinking back, my collection of photos spanned all the way back to 1993. 18 years worth of photos. Of which, the 1st 8 yrs were hardcopes buried deep under my bed. Ahhh… those were the days where we would head to the photo developing store to process the fim roll.
The next 10 yrs worth are all in my laptop. 70.1GB worth. *Gasp* Think its really time to back them up in case my lappy crash. Touchwood.
Plain White T’s – 1, 2, 3, 4
1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4
Give me more lovin’ than I’ve ever had
Make it all better when I’m feelin’ sad
Tell me that I’m special even when I know I’m not
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
Barely gettin’ mad, I’m so glad I found you
I love bein’ around you
You make it easy, it’s as easy as 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4
There’s only one thing to do
Three words for you I love you
There’s only one way to say
Those three words and that’s what I’ll do, I love you
Give me more lovin’ from the very start
Piece me back together when I fall apart
Tell me things you never even tell your closest friends
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
Best that I’ve had, I’m so glad that I found you
I love bein’ around you
You make it easy, it’s as easy as 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4
There’s only one thing to do
Three words for you I love you
There’s only one way to say
Those three words and that’s what I’ll do, I love you
I love you
You make it easy, it’s easy as 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4
There’s only one thing to do
Three words for you I love you
There’s only one way to say

I love you
1, 2, 3, 4
I love you
I love you
Lomography by definition defines “Happy Accidents”.
In the land of lomography, no one will ever fault you for taking blurry, over-exposed shots.
So, take out your lomos and snap away.
Rise and shine on a late Sunday morning. Decided to pay Chun Ji Wanton Mee stall at Stirling Road a visit for brunch despite knowing there’ll be a long queue.
Reached there at 1145am and as expected, many ppl were waiting for their noodles to be served. Decided to go ahead to join the ‘crowd’.
Finally after a 55-min wait, wanton mee auntie finally came over with the usual messy looking plate of noodles. *clap gleefully*. Wasted no time and munched down the noodles in 10 mins. (“-)
Ah. What can I say. Good things are worth the wait.
